Going Green has been gaining a lot of speed especially in the last few years and having a “green” wedding is one of the ways the new direction has been promoted. Many items can be changed to have a "green" wedding and one of the many is the wedding favors. Happy Father's Day!!!

While grocery shopping for my Mother’s Day meal last month, I was told by one of the store managers to don’t forget Father’s Day next month. That comment got me thinking about how Father’s Day doesn’t get as much praise or acknowledgment as Mother’s Day. In a lot of households, Mother’s Day is a huge event sometimes requiring a lot of work and preparation. However, about a month later the energy level goes down and little is done for the fathers. Well, I want to change that stereotype…

To all of the fathers and fathers-to-be (I know of a lot of them currently) out there, I want to send a huge HAPPY FATHER’S DAY greeting to all of the fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers, uncles, new fathers, fathers-to-be, and anyone else deserving. Do something special for that special man or men. And for those of us that have lost our special men, don't forget them, honor them on Sunday and do something special in your life that they would want you to do.
